Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
